About Australian Labradoodles

The Breed
Meet the Australian Labradoodle, a beautiful cross between the Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel, originally developed in Australia in the 1970s. Despite the name, they do not have any Australian Shepherd in their lineage. We focus only on multigenerational Australian Labradoodles to ensure better coat quality, consistent temperaments, and strong allergy friendly traits. Australian Labradoodles are known for their sweet, friendly, and affectionate personalities. They make wonderful family pets and adore spending time with both children and adults. They are also highly trainable, making them excellent candidates for therapy and service work.

The Coat and Grooming
Australian Labradoodles have soft, luxurious fleece coats that are typically wavy and are both allergy friendly and non shedding. Many of our families with strong allergies do very well with this hair type and often find this breed to be a perfect fit for them. While Labradoodles are non shedding, their coats do require regular brushing to stay healthy and mat-free. When grown out, their coats need more frequent care, but when kept trimmed, they are fairly easy to maintain. With just a little attention, their beautiful coats stay soft, fluffy, and clean for years to come.

Appearance and Coloring
Our Australian Labradoodles come in gorgeous colors like Caramel, Chocolate, Red, Apricot, and Black, with patterns including Roan, Parti, Tuxedo, and Solid. Many of our puppies are born with stunning green eyes, which often soften into a sweet hazel or warm brown as they grow. We love the unique beauty each Labradoodle brings! Our Mini Labradoodles range from 18–25 pounds, Smalls from 20–30 pounds, and Small Mediums from 25–35 pounds full grown. We focus mainly on the small medium size to offer more versatile companions, big enough for outdoor adventures but small enough for cuddles and fitting easily into everyday life.
